Akhuwat Health Services runs a health center in Township, Lahore since 2009 and aims to provide effective and affordable healthcare services to financially vulnerable people. AHS also offers subsidized medicines (e.g., diabetes injections and footwear), lab tests, free examination, consultation, and nursing services.

Donate

Akhuwat also sets up free medical camps that are organized at AHS for routine general checkups, diabetes and eye checkups, free medicine distribution and a major free diabetic camp on annual diabetes day.

We offer comprehensive healthcare services for a variety of common ailments and medical concerns. Services include routine check-ups, diagnostic tests, minor procedures, vaccinations, and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses. We ensure primary care for the deserving and underprivileged patients who visit us.

Diabetes Clinic

We offer specialized care for managing diabetes, including routine check-ups, blood sugar monitoring, and treatment plans. Patients receive dietary guidance, medication management, and information on lifestyle changes that can help them recover and improve their health.

Psychiatry Clinic

We provide services for breast cancer patients, including screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. We also run campaigns to spread awareness about breast cancer to help people avoid complications.

Ultrasound

Our ultrasound services include advanced diagnostic imaging services for various medical conditions. We use High-resolution ultrasound technology to visualize internal organs, monitor pregnancies, and assist in diagnosing and treating a range of health issues.

Gynae Clinic

The Gynae Clinic caters to women’s health, offering services such as routine gynecological check-ups, prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and treatment for reproductive health issues. The clinic aims to ensure women’s well-being through all life stages.

Hypertension Clinic

We provide care for people who suffer from high blood pressure. Our services include regular blood pressure monitoring, medication management, lifestyle management, and risk factor assessment, so that we can help prevent complications among our patients.

Foot Clinic

We focus specifically on preventing and treating foot-related complications, particularly for diabetic patients. Our services include foot examinations, wound care, and treatment for infections and other foot ailments to ensure proper foot health. We also design shoes for diabetic patients to save them from amputations.

Poverty-alleviation

Akhuwat is committed to poverty-alleviation. One important sector, where deserving and underprivileged people need help and support, is health. We practice Mawakhat (solidarity) with people who can’t access healthcare services easily by providing them a range of services and subsidized medicines.

Awareness Campaigns

For the rural areas of Punjab, Akhuwat organizes tele-medical facilities. We also educate people to maintain a healthy lifestyle which aims at promoting behaviors that sustain well-being. We also spread awareness about sensitive illnesses, such as breast cancer and hepatitis.

There is a Dadi from Sialkot who always prays for me. It feels good when a diabetes patient struggling with the recovery of wounds wears these shoes and feels better.
