Akhuwat’s PATH (Poverty Alleviation Through Higher Education) program is making higher education accessible to students who might not otherwise have the chance to pursue their dreams. For the year 2024, 47 students from Akhuwat College Kasur secured admission to some of the most respected universities in Pakistan.
The results speak for themselves. Fourteen students were admitted to FAST Islamabad, 7 to FAST Lahore, 3 to FAST Karachi, 12 to FAST Faisalabad, and 8 to FAST University Peshawar. Additionally, one student each made it to NUST Main Campus, NUST Rawalpindi Campus, and Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI). These numbers reflect the hard work and dedication of the students and the support provided by Akhuwat colleges.
Sarmad Abdullah shares his experience of getting admission at FAST NUCES, Islamabad
"Coming from a family with major financial issues, I always thought that only people from strong financial backgrounds were deserving of education. But Akhuwat has fulfilled my dream of excelling in my educational journey without the burden of fees. Now, with Akhuwat’s support, I am studying Electrical Engineering at FAST Islamabad. My aim is to use my education to give back to my community and help others achieve their dreams.
